Winter Formal Wear

He wrote "Formal?" on the back of his water polo ball.
She said "yes" then my daughter called me with her happy news.
Tomorrow will be the first Winter Formal for both seniors. 

We found the dress and shoes at Macys.  The sparkly headband at Nordstrom.
She's happy, giddy and excited.  Her joy makes me smile.

At Macy's, we shopped separately, but picked the same dress.  Cool.
Simple short black dress with a sequined bodice.

She loves the sequins (and anything else that twinkles).

The back has a simple bow.

A cover to keep the chill off her shoulders.

She likes the silvery pewter glow at the base of the heels (matches the dress bodice).
She'll need to practice walking on these heels.

See?  I wear these shoes.  Practical. No worries about tripping on heels. Unattractive, you say?
